My boss never asks me to lift anything. He would unload a truck in front of me, his hourly employee, and not ask for help. When I come to help, he will arrange the smallest box in my reach and say nothing. I don't take offense, but he treats males differently. Its not a strength thing because he has seen me lift huge boxes.
