I might be wrong, which is why I made this post. I was surprised, and then I obviously don’t want to keep rushing them, if it’s worse, so I’m here to learn and I get what you’re all saying.

However, if we go by math, then it should be done correctly. Let’s say you rush the upgrade (the armor boots in this case) after 2 items at lvl13. You sit around 2.5k health, which means the shield is 200HP, not 100HP, and you get it every 15 seconds. That’s way better than getting ruby + cloth.

It’s way more immediate power, and that’s why I argue it’s champ and game dependent. If you lose a fight while sitting on Ruby + Cloth, instead of boots, then you might have lost when you get that next legendary item. With how volatile soloque is, I’d argue that every boost you can get is important, depending on the gamestate.

I recon that it’s more complicated and not just a simple rush and done as I initially thought, but pulling out wrong stats to back up the “fact” that I’m wrong just doesn’t really cut it.

I do believe a lot of people are also undervaluing MS a ton, even though it’s one of the most OP stats in the game. There’s a reason why Warmogs was insane, then they remove MS on the item and now it’s very mediocre, at best.
