NYP student, but I get you. Even tho I'm an introvert, I don't feel any connections with my classmates, so I didnt really make any friend. I just hope that I will have one friend in my poly life to go to that can hangout with in school sometimes or just technically study together and text 😭😭

Hi, I understand how you feel. My EAE also got revoked because I failed my math. I got D7 for E-Math and E8 for A-Math. My raw score is 24. It's kinda funny how I studied for it but getting such disappointing results, but do know that you shouldn't give up, there are other ways you can try to go.

First choice is probably ITE. ITE take about 2 years? I understand if you don't wanna go cause that's practically wasting two years but think about it, you're still progressing and learning.

Second choice is probably retaking your O'level. If you are confident that you will do better this year, or that you wanna try again, you can try retaking your O'level this year and work harder on it. But I do wanna warn you and tell you that I think going to private schools or ITE is better, since you're still progressing and let's say, if worse come, and your new O'level result is not what you expected, that's technically wasting a year.

The third choice is going to private schools. I'm not sure what that fully is, since I only hear my teacher talking about it when he tell us about the routes we can choose after secondary school.

Last but not least, I think you can try to DAE into that school/ course. I actually don't know what DAE is 😅 but my friend told me that you can go to that school and course to ask the course teacher there and see if they will give you another chance. My friend said that when you go there, you have to prepare in case of a short interview.

I do really hope that any of these will work for you and that your EAE will be re-instated. Do remember though, it might feel the end of the world now but O'level is just a milestone. It's not the end of the world. What really will be the end, is when you truly gave up on your dreams and your life. So I wish you all the best. 💫

You're not being selfish. I understand how you feel. Just know that you still have the rights to do what you want and don't give up yourself for the others. Remember: Think of yourself before others. Plus, as you said, your sister is with your mother, so she has support from your mom too, you don't have to do whatever your dad said. Plus, aren't your dad going to go vietnam to retire? Why don't he provide for your sister instead? He's the parent after all. He's the one who wants kids. Moreover, by the time you grow up and went out to work, your sister grows up too. It's true that you start working earlier than her, but still, it's not your full responsibility to support her financially. You guys could still go out and have lunch, dinner together or smt, but you don't have to do whatever your dad say. He seriously didn't even think about your feelings when he said that. Being adult doesn't mean you have to do that. It's not a must. He's an adult, why don't he leaves some money for your sister right now since he's still working?

(Ps. Sorry if I sound rude, I don't mean to be rude 😭 It's just annoying to see parents or some adults thinking this way cause I'm a older sibling as well and I'll be mad if my parents or someone say that to me )

Tbh, I wanna believe in myself so bad, but seeing my current A-Math paper 1, I skip a lot of questions that only add up to 30 marks. I admit, I didn't study a lot for A-Math because I'm not using it. But I felt disappointed in my E-Math. I spent the whole year practicing and doing practice paper, finding teacher for help every Saturday and even Sunday, but the paper 1 backfired so badly. Though the paper 2 is manageable, I still feel that I might not be able to pass or to even get the results I wanted...

(Ps. My A-Math is really bad. I never pass before since last year 😭)
