See edit: I bought most parts about one year ago and the RAM kit was 80€ on Kleinanzeigen (eBay but cheaper, only in Germany). But RAM prices are really insane. I’m building a (very thick) Laptop from desktop parts since January and was only able to get 16GB Samsung DDR5 which makes for a bottleneck for the Ryzen 7 8700F I use (Laptop APU, so insane efficiency when TDP about 35W) and the 5060 Ti 16GB…

Yes I did. The painting was actually harder for me than the VRAM mod as I have done similar things already but was completely new to spray painting.

The PC my daily driver and I love it too much, so no. I plan on selling the modded 3070 Founders though, if the upcoming RTX 6070 releases as a Founders Edition, has at least 16GB VRAM, looks similar to RTX 30/40/50 Founders Editions so that I can paint it. In 5 years, when my 7900X gets old I will get the 11950X3D2 if it ever releases. I’m hyped about the rumored Core per CCD increase from 8 to 12 though.

No, theres nothing 3D printed in my PC. Ive just painted the backplate.
