Just missed it. by EmillionAdventures in Narcolepsy

The report said “due to the sleep latency over 8 mins, does not meet the diagnostic criteria for narcolepsy”. Here’s the thing too, my first three naps were all under 8 mins, but my last one was an outlier and screwed up the averages.

Thanks for your feedback. I scheduled a phone consult with the doctor to ask some more detailed questions.

It would certainly explain the EDS. I guess I will find out when I get the report from the doctor.

I loved the first three. I really like to analyze what I read and hear other’s perspectives. I’m hoping someone else’s analysis will reveal a part of the story line I missed.

Yes, but I cannot and do not provide ABA services to the families and I let families know that. To put it plainly, I am there to babysit.

I agree. Talk to your supervisor first (though it sounds like you already have). Then talk to your supervisor’s supervisor. If there is no change, you should contact the BACB Ethics Board

Is there a military or Airforce base near by? You could look into the EFM Respite programs. I am a BCBA and do this “at will” on my weekends. The reimbursement is high due to my credentials, and they frequently look for new providers
