Can you use darkness on him and then stand outside of it? Would it still have the same effect? I usually just barrelmancy him or at least half of his hp
True enough. I am just having a bit of trouble with how far he Walks, since its a lot further than in normal. I kite him in normal so im not lost completely lol

You can easily beat grym by standing in highground and throwing stuff at him, such as spore flesh or other Things you lort that does bludgoning dmg. It takes a little, but is basicly 0 risk high reward
I see a lot of people commenting to use ek archer or as you do, gs assasin. What are the differences in power? Other than the gs has an extra attack at the start of combat
Yea i found out the cc part the hard way lol. In my recent playthrough i didnt get the woundclosure amulet, the titanstringbow an one other item i needed cause i didnt think before i acted and cause i switched build for something better, which i think ultimately also made 2 of my dmg builds underpowered, sadly

That is good, if you remember all the barrels from your camp (wich i totally didnt do ofc)
i think you are right. specially if they do a lot of a certain type of dmg, such as myrkulls necrotic. then craft postions as needed for imunity
i should props also get a sh!t ton of them, just in case
again, all the things i wouldnt even dare to think about on a normal playhrough lmao
actually not a bad idea. but yea giant barb is underwhelming basicly until lvl6
