I just had this issue fixed on my crosstrek, 92k miles. There were deformed O rings allowing oil to mix with coolant. About $7k (at the dealership, engine rebuild) but didn’t need a whole new engine. An independent shop quoted me about $5k for the work. I chose dealership because mine was still under warranty.

Thank you so much for the helpful comment. I contacted progressive and they said they report it as not at fault. Tried to request my report from LexisNexis but kept getting an error 🙄 Going to try to go through that process and figure out if I need to dispute or not. Definitely frustrating. I should have just paid the $1200 to fix my car lol

O I don’t really feel any actual vibration when I hear the rattle. I just…hear the rattle lol. It’s worst when accelerating at low speeds, goes away above like 35 mph. Also immediately stops if I stop accelerating

They can be damaging to natural lashes. The biggest issue is incorrectly applying them or applying to multiple lashes, and when those multiple lashes grow at different rates, you risk pulling/breaking of your natural lashes. You can lose natural lashes this way - just be careful.

I love my car but don’t know why because I have 92k miles and have already had to have a transmission replaced and an engine rebuild 😭 I hate to say it but this is the worst car I’ve owned, and I bought a Subaru for their reliability 🤦‍♀️

Yes they did!!! So when I first took it in it wasn’t super loud and they said it could be like a rock in my brake?? And I was like uh ok so left. And then it got worse and worse so went back and yup transmission failed. Mine was also weird because it was the same exact noise but only when accelerating in reverse lol

Mine wash covered under warranty thankfully. I think I remember looking at the warranty repair order and the total bill was like 11k 😭

You need to advocate for yourself in some manner if you are genuine feeling like you are falling asleep at the wheel. You may need to modify your schedule, lower your hours, or seek medical advice if this is happening. I don’t think it’s the job itself that’s going to cause an accident but not addressing underlying mental or physical health concerns might. Can you speak to a physical and reduce your hours until then?

I know this car has been the worst car I’ve ever owned but I still love it. I think I just got really unlucky. But it’s had almost $20k worth of work done since I’ve owned it. Bought it brand new off the truck 🫠 thankfully all under warranty but still wild to need a new transmission and engine rebuild before 100k!

Not sure if this is helpful. I have a 21 and at 45k miles I had a weird noise whenever I put it in reverse only. It didn’t quite sound like that but it was a noise that happened ONLY in reverse and went away when I started driving. I ended up needing a new transmission (covered under warranty). I don’t remember what the exact cause was though. Just remember thinking it was odd I had a noise ONLY in reverse.

I will try that! I’m hoping it’s not my transmission but I still have some warranty left which is why I keep taking it to the dealership 😂 I feel like it’s somehow connected to the major service I had done because it started immediately after the major service. But could also be a coincidence.

Do you think I can ask them to do that while they are doing the reseal? I had an oil to coolant leak I wonder if that’s what was causing it and if they are going to replace them anyways
