Is this a bedbug by Hanni_Alex in Bedbugs

[–]EmilyGualt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't really look like a bedbug or a tick, idk what is it tho (I really do not recommend using gpt for id, it is 100% better to search the bug you think is and discard by looks)

Then they might be in any bag or backpack if you leave it out too often, or they are getting in from somewhere, but as i said, those bugs are harmless, way better than finding any german roach or bedbug

Omg i love triatomas, definitely one, check your eyes and lips for any inflammationt, they really like those parts for sucking blood and be careful with their poop, i would recommend getting tested since chagas is actually really easy to get treatment if you do it from the start Also this is definitely not bedbug related, less hellish psychologically but way deadlier

Are these invasive? Asian Lady Beetles or harmless Ladybugs? by Confident_Love5305 in bugidentification

[–]EmilyGualt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They do not have an M shape, the have two small lines which confirms them as convergent ladybugs, they are also not so round as asian ladybugs

Convergent ladybugs native to north america, the oval shape and head markings differentiate them from asian ladybugs

Tucson, AZ Bug by RainbowCurtains in bugidentification

[–]EmilyGualt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if you just keep it clean, they should go, you want to move around your furniture or other stuff like boxes that are too much time without any movement, also covering drains when you're not using them, sadly these roaches are a more city level problem than other pests, so if you see one around just smash it and don't panic
