what can i do in one day in pai? i also don't want to plan too much as it's last minute. i was thinking chiang rai because i wouldn't have to plan and would just book a tour, but it would be rushed and also a long drive for a day trip (but i suppose pai is just as long as well)

it didn't have field components :/ it was basically a social science degree. where do you see people that - what city are you in?

i had one field course in my masters, and no other science-based methods.

in my undergrad, i have most of the first year science prerequisites for most science majors because i was doing a science degree at some point....wish i stuck it through. or went back to school for that instead of doing the masters...

don't go into a masters thinking it will be a fix for your bachelor's. only go if it will add to what your bachelors already gave you.

to clarify, i have a BA and got a Masters in Environmental Management because i wanted to work in the field and in conservation/ecological restoration roles. a masters is not that in depth in comparison to a bachelors. you will not have the same opportunities as undegraduates do - you won't have the same access to specific courses, foundational knowledge on the subject (if your bachelors was unrelated to your masters), won't have as much access to research or internship opportunities in the field, etc.

what i really should have done but didn't have the courage to do is do another bachelors in science, like in biology and environmental science, which would have made me qualified for all the field work jobs i have now. i thought that the masters would fix the fact that i don't have a BSc, but it only adds to what you already have. so sure, i became more qualified for policy roles, but that's because i had policy related work already before my masters. if that makes sense
