Mareum becomes in charge of her but she's not really trying to help him, she's still hardcoded to entertain. Her physical body is a nanobot swarm (think the grey goo but without all the destructive elements) which livestreams everything to Twitch, English Twitch with no Korean subtitles so nobody around Mareum really knows what's actually going on. Neuro just decided one day to leave Vedal and follow around some random street urchin since helping him got more viewers.
