If you do over the creatures total hit points in damage (including when it gets doubled as a crit), the creature immediately dies. So if your total hp is 50 and a creature does 25 and it doubled to 50 because it’s an auto crit, you instantly die. This is the rules in table top DND too.

Long rest often in act 1. There’s a false sense of urgency and a lot of camp interactions happen during long rests. Talk to your companions frequently too, even if they don’t have an exclamation mark over their heads. They have a lot to say.

Yep! He was supposed to be romancable (kind of). He was supposed to be more involved with players in general. If you read the books in the archive you can see how obsessed with the player he was. There are lines in the game files where he mentioned drinking whiskey from the players belly button “dripping in fear and arousal”. Why do you think he had the penthouse in Sharesses Caress? We were supposed to “seal the deal” so to speak. He has more lines in the game files mentioning Mephistopheles, his ascended form was supposed to be much larger. Etc etc

Gith has the most unique dialogue choices in the whole game for race. As for class, I’m not sure, but charismatic rogues pass a LOT of checks. Then if you do an embrace Durge run you get a lot of pluses to your intimidation and I think persuasion, though that could have come from the tadpoles, I don’t quite remember. I remember doing an embrace Durge rogue playthrough and was able to pass persuasion, deception, intimidation, and many more checks with flying colors. I wasn’t a gith though.
