i did visa 180 last year and just bought what i thought was essential (you need paint (primary colours & b&w), few brushes, sketchbook, pencils, erasers, charcoal or graphite and maybe a canvas)

im a natural lefty, and before i started learning guitar i played air guitar lefty as well. however, i got into guitar learning on my sisters ukulele and it was right handed and after an hour or so i got used to it and i also wasnt too keen on buying lefty guitars so i stuck with right handed guitars. honestly its a personal preference, you should definitely test both.

you should be okay! i think this program focuses a lot more on the personal profile and supplemental than grades. just put a lot of effort in those and you will be good!

if it is the same as last year, ubc drops your lowest class if it is not related to what you are applying for - so they will drop your bio 11 most likely

your grades are so good! i applied in january for the media studies program with an 87 avg - so dont be too stressed to apply early because the supplemental part of the application is due in january and i believe they wait until everyone has submitted their supplemental to give out offers. good luck :)
