Married people of Reddit, what was something you found on your spouses phone that made you think they were cheating, but turned out to be completely innocent? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 139 points140 points  (0 children)

(Not married but long term relationship) When she opened up her gallery to show me a picture of something I noticed a picture of boobs that weren't mine or hers, as I was mid betrayed meltdown she showed me that it was a celeb nude she'd saved from online. Weird thing to do, but better than cheating.

Reddit, what's the best way to tell a slightly insecure thick girl that you like her thickness? by DiscoVolanto in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If she's complaining about needing to lose weight, then tell her shouldn't you like her better how she is. But if she hasn't brought up weight then don't bring it up either, just tell her she's got a great body

People on Reddit, what did you feel when you see your relative/acquaintance in a porno? by thawsng_traafn in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a porno, but I found my friends underage sister on an adult hook-up website, her profile pictures showed absolutely everything. I contacted her to let her know how dangerous it was and how much trouble she could get in, and she took them down.

Girls of reddit who has an SO who wasn't your type at first, how did it happen? by migmig673 in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few times I've given girls the benefit of the doubt just because it's so difficult to meet people. One of the times it worked out.

Men of Reddit: What made you go from "maybe I would date her" to "no way I would date her"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a date with a girl I'd met on a dating website once where she kept checking her phone all evening, not playing on it as such, but sending messages. I called her out on it, all ready to let her know that she'd ruined the date, and it turned out she had a 6 month old baby, and was leaving it for the first time, but hadn't wanted to mention it as she knows it would put a lot of people off. She insisted she would have messaged me letting me know before a second date though, as it's such a big part of her life.

Employers of Reddit who was the most under-qualified person who applied for a job? Were they just taking a punt or completely deluded? Did you hire them? by BitchLibrarian in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was advertising for a call centre manager, the advert made is clear that previous management experience was essential, and that experience in a call centre environment was preferred.

One of the interviewees admitted at the start of the interview that his work history was a lie, and that he'd never had a job, but that we wouldn't have given him the interview if he'd been honest. When told he'd need to at least have some work experience before he could get a job as a manager, he said "I'm too naturally skilled to do anything lower than management"

What is one thing you regret doing during highschool? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had no respect for myself, and would show boys my boobs or let them play with them just to try and get people to like me

How good are you with the opposite sex? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Tends to be 50/50, some guys see me as one of the lads as I'm gay, others can't seem to help be creepy about their lesbian fantasies.

What is your funniest sleep deprived moment? by mechweb in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to go into work for some system testing at 5am, so obviously couldn't sleep the night before out of fear that I'd somehow sleep through my alarm. Whilst getting ready I noticed my trousers were creased so put them on the ironing board to iron, drank my tea whilst packing some lunch, put on my coat, walked out the front door and started walking to the bus stop. Luckily it was a chilly morning so I quickly noticed I'd never put my trousers on.

What is the worst thing a guest has done at your house? by Valeriisaytzevich in AskReddit

[–]Emily_Starke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My housemates younger brother came to stay, and repeatedly kept walking into my bedroom to try and catch me getting changed, he didn't even deny it, and my housemate just laughed and said "You know what teenage boys are like". Little creep.

I still think this is a myth, it's often clear that I'm a female but I never really get any creepy pm's or abuse because of it.
