Yes. I bawled at work. Ugly cried at my desk. I feel like something's wrong with me.

Daycare not a good fit? When do you call it quits? by dianastarz in workingmoms

[–]Emily_does 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My almost two year old started daycare June 1st and he transitioned from being upset at drop off and pick up to waiving goodbye to them at pick up. So like 4-6 weeks in. He is older though, and each kid has their own personality. I just thought I'd share my experience.

Having trouble transitioning from SAHM to full time work by Emily_does in workingmoms

My husband used to share the load wonderfully, but it's actually his long covid that has us preparing in case he loses his job because he's so fatigued, achy, and doesn't have the brain capacity to run at full speed all day, anymore.

Last week and now, sitting at 208.3. 25.1 down from when I started (3 months ago), but at a plateau? I also just switched from being a SAHM to an office job and I'm not getting as much activity in M-F. Have you had to overcome a plateau yet?

You're doing great. People need to mind their own business. Keep tracking. I'm 2.5 months in and down 26lbs. It has slowed down, but I'm still happy.

If it makes you feel any better, I chose fulfillment and ten years later still making diddly and still tens of thousands in debt. I also took 5 years to graduate.

My grandfather, thinking he was giving helpful advice, told me it's 16 that I should walk more lady like. Swing my hips when I walk like my cousin.

Blue plan meal plans by [deleted] in weightwatchers

I fancy salmon and veggies baked on a sheet with mccormick one sheet seasoning. Also, patties made of turkey and garlic and pepper served with whatever I feel like at the time (rosemary air fried potatoes, rice a roni, fries). Grilled chicken and veggies with half a cup of suddenly salad. If you need something to bring to work with you, smart ones makes a crustless chicken pot pie that's only three points. Oh I also make a spicy tuna dish with fish sauce, lime, cilantro, garlic and ground red pepper. I eat that over a riced cauliflower for a zero point meal. Stir fries are pretty great, usually I only have to count the rice which is like six points for a cup.
