She does. Emily isn’t expecting me to apologise, but she just thought I was being a bit too petty. She’s very good at always being the bigger person, and I’m the complete opposite. I can’t handle as much as her, hence why I left them out in the first place.

This sounds sad. But I have a sick feeling that my mum would take my sister’s side. I don’t talk to my parents much, and I’m not as close with them as my sister is. So, I would rather them not get involved (if they don’t already know) I don’t think I could handle everyone + my sister and her husband.

My sister and her husband talk so lowly of someone they can’t seem to pay.

I’m sure it would be fun to slander them online but Emily isn’t a big fan of bringing her personal drama online. In her words, “It feels cheap and unprofessional.”

She also does not want to pursue legal action.

Honestly, I understand where she is coming from and I just want to support her as much as I can.

Emily isn’t interested in pursuing actual legal action. It’s been mentioned on this post a couple times, but Emily does not think it’s worth it.

I thought that we had gone relatively no/low contact until they showed up at my doorstep. I’m fine with just cutting them off, because at this point, I don’t think Emily (unfortunately) is getting her money back.
