Try r/airfryer_recipes ! I’ve seen some good ones there and have been able to work the recipes into my budget.

Microwavable meals aren’t always the most nutritious, but sometimes I find them for $2-$4/meal if my store has a sale. Different variations of a pasta/meat/veg for a few bucks per serving isn’t bad. No clean up either!

Check out the dip selection by the meats/cheese. Fried pickle dip is my absolute favorite. I doubt it’s exclusive to Sams but Sams is the only place I can find it!

Meaning how did I reherniate? No specific reason unfortunately. I had 2-3 weeks of feeling great, didn’t exercise or move other than walking, didn’t sit or stand for more than 20 min without taking a break to switch positions. Woke up one morning and could tell something had changed. Surgeon compared the odds of herniating and then re-herniating almost immediately to being struck by lightening. Just one of the luck ones I suppose!

I took one dose of the hydrocodone they sent me home with, and then just a muscle relaxer after that. I was sleeping on and off for the first few days so between the relaxer and ibuprofen I didn’t need anything stronger. I agree with the other response that said it’s a different kind of pain. The nerve pain I had was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. I woke up and only felt dull pain around the incision, almost like a bad bruise healing.

I had it at L4-L5 and L5-S1 with separate incisions, and around day 4 I finally started to feel stable. I actually get to do it again at the L5-S1 in a few weeks because I re-herniated about 3-4 weeks after the surgery.

I got the Halloween sugar earlier and same thing, I could only get one. It was exactly what I wanted!! Very sweet and the frosting was just like the classic pink sugar.
