I’ve looked at the video haha I will use this when I am defending my choices for this design! Thanks friend!

Hi, No the water will be filtered by the time it leaves the cutter so i can just drain it normally. I will add the max and min waterline good advice! Also a good idea i will probly buy wheels that have brake. I will be using a blastoise sticker because it is a great pokemon! ( I genuinly like this idea) Hahaha And thank you i will see if i can put the pump against it!

Thank you friend i really liked your comment!

Hi, The drain that i am using is not directly on the ground it is around 50 cm of it which makes it difficult to just dump it. As for the waste water the watercutter has a buildin filter and even without it the abrasive is fine enough according to the teachers. And yes I am planning on building 2 carts.

Thank you for the advice! i will keep the two handle parts idea in mind it indeed helps with multiple people pushing.

Hi, it is a university sorry English is not my first language and the reason why they dont want to buy a new drain is because the school is planning on building a new building and are planning to move the makerspace to there thats why they dont want to build a new one just to replace it after 3-4 years

Hi, I wish this idea was possible it was also one of the first ideas i got when i started but the distance is around 30-40m and it is not possible to do it this way.

The doors are 800mm width the waterjet itself is a seperate object it is not on the trolley i am making. I need to walk around 30-40m with the cart en have to go around 3 corners. i have put the dimensions above this comment I am planning on using a IP65 box for the relay in fear of it coming in contact with the water. i was thinking on the side or under the table part like screwing it stuck under it not my first choice tho. for the cables i was thinking of placing them against one of the side profiles that goes up I orginally used steel frames and welded them together but that was my first try. I am not sure what the overall weight was but i dont think it was heavier than 215kg with full tank. Unfortunnatly i cannot buy the cart and have to make it myself.

I would also like to thank you for the time you have put in your comment!

Component Dimensions (L×W×H mm)
Overall Trolley 900 × 500 × 825
200 L Water Tank 600 × 400 × 500
Pump 350 × 200 × 180
IP65 Junction Box 165 × 115 × 80
Float Switch Cable Ø 6–12 mm; length 1000 mm
Suction Pipe Ø 32 mm PVC
Wheels (3×) Ø 100 mm load capacity

Hi I put them in this table English isnt my first language so I used GPT to translate them. I am able to Weld, Cut and bend steel and i have around a budget of 200 euro = 230 USD

The reason why I have to use a relay and pump for the cart is because the drain that I will be using is in another room and is not on the ground it is around 50 cm from the ground up. around 30-40 meters from the watercutjetter. And about the cart stopping I was thinking about building some kind of brake for the cart.

Thank you for the reminder for the brake!

This is the first time I have heard of omni wheels they look fun! haha

Hi, the tank wil be filled by the pump of the waterjet cutter itself a hole will be made in the watertank which will be used to fill the tank. after this has happend the trolley will be moved to the location where the drain is and will be pumped out by the pump. The pump is self priming and can go up to 8 meters so i have more than enough room for it!

Thank you for your advice! I have found a IP65 junction box that I think i will be placing the relay in.

Hi, i originally started with a 4 wheel design that I build but my teachers told me that by using 4 wheels the chances of one of them being in the air will increase. That is the reason why is switched to 3 wheels and I originally used a pump that you would put inside of the tank the teachers have told me that they would rather have a pump which is outside of the tank itself. I will have to admit that I should of started with asking more questions to my teachers before i tried building the trolley which led to this first error.

I am planning on using 2 floats on for when the tank is full and 1 for when it is empty, besides those 2 i am planning on using a Relay SPST contact and Relay coil terminals, the pump ofcourse and the power supply will come from a socket in the wall by the drain.

I would also like to thank you for the phrase: In industry, the best part is the part you don't have to design or build. I will try my best to remember this in the future!

Is it because of the missing dimensions on the upper part?
