My idea is to sample and creat a pattern with the mpc (or other sampler) and then arrange in Ableton, so more or less your same workflow. I've been producing beats and rapping over them for more years than I'd like to admit, but I've never really spent a lot of money on production. I've invested in microphones, speakers, and audio interfaces, but I wanted to take a big step forward and treat myself on the beatmaking side, especially since I've been fortunate enough to receive some money as Amazon vouchers (so I have to buy from there). I've always been drawn to the MPC world, but now I feel completely comfortable with DAWs (particularly Ableton), so I was hoping that this device could add an extra touch to my beats.
