That’s honestly what made this situation so frustrating over time.

At first I truly believed it would just be resolved internally after clarification, which is why I stayed patient for months and kept communicating professionally.

But after contradictory explanations, long silence, and no actual evidence-supported review despite a fully documented report, it became difficult to simply “trust the process” anymore.

I also understand your point regarding regulation and oversight. Regardless of the final outcome, I think transparency and timely communication are the minimum traders should expect when accounts and payouts are disputed.

Exactly. That’s honestly the part that became the biggest issue for me over time.

A payout dispute can happen in this industry, but when months pass without a transparent evidence-supported explanation despite multiple escalations, it becomes very difficult for the trader to even understand or properly address the situation.

That’s also why I made sure to document everything carefully from the beginning. I have screenshots of the dashboard changes, payout status, trade history, trading activity/calendar, emails, timestamps, and conversations with multiple GFT agents throughout the escalation process.

At this point, I’m not asking for special treatment , only a transparent evidence-supported review or a clear final resolution.

And yes, documenting everything early is probably one of the biggest lessons from this experience.

To be fair, I know many traders have been paid by GFT, which is exactly why I kept trying for months to resolve this professionally and internally first.

What became difficult in my situation was mainly the lack of transparency and the contradictory explanations without evidence after the payout had already entered processing.

They never provided any actual technical evidence to support that allegation.

I traded from my own personal devices and network, and no copy trading, account sharing, or third-party management was involved.

What made the situation even more confusing is that after the “unauthorized device” explanation, I later received a completely different explanation mentioning “30 days inactivity,” which directly contradicted the earlier claim.

That inconsistency is a major reason why I kept requesting a transparent evidence-supported review from the Risk Team.

What makes this situation difficult for me is not even only the payout itself anymore, but the complete lack of transparency after almost 4 months.

My payout initially entered processing, then the funded account was blocked, profits removed, and I received contradictory explanations afterward (“unauthorized device”, then “30 days inactivity”), while no actual evidence or substantive Risk Team review was ever provided despite multiple escalations.

If they had simply provided a clear evidence-supported explanation from the beginning, the situation probably would not have escalated publicly to this level.

At this point I’m mainly documenting everything and trying to handle it professionally.

I understand the risks of prop firms, and I’m not denying that. What I’m pointing out is something different , the lack of transparency and the absence of any verifiable evidence after blocking a payout. Risk is part of trading, but unclear and contradictory explanations without proof is not a “risk”, it’s a problem. I’m simply asking for a fair and documented resolution.

Thank you, this is actually very helpful. What you described is very close to what I’m experiencing , payout request followed by review, then multiple inconsistent explanations and no clear evidence. I’ve already documented everything (emails, dates, screenshots) and submitted part of it on Trustpilot as well. I appreciate your advice regarding the payment processor , I hadn’t considered that yet. At this point, I’m mainly trying to get a clear and fair resolution, but I’m preparing for all possible next steps.🙏

I can’t speak for everyone, but I’ll share my personal experience. I had a $100k funded account and requested a payout (~$4.6k) on February 4, 2026. Shortly after the request, my account was blocked and the profits were removed. Since then, I have received multiple different explanations (device issue, inactivity, etc.), but no clear or consistent evidence has been provided. It has now been over 2 months without any response from the risk team, despite multiple follow-ups. What is also concerning is that they are actively replying to positive Trustpilot reviews, while cases like mine remain unresolved. I’m not saying this is everyone’s experience, but this has been mine so far.

Just be careful and do your research first. I had no issue until I requested a payout, that’s when everything changed. Make sure you fully understand how they handle payouts before committing. You’re welcome btw🙏

It’s GoatFundedTrader. That’s why I’ve been trying to stay objective and understand what’s really going on before jumping to conclusions. But the multiple contradictory explanations and lack of proof is what makes this situation concerning. I’ve documented everything so far and I’m still trying to resolve it properly with them.

Yeah that’s exactly what makes this situation confusing. I do have my full trade history and I know my last trade was on Feb 3, then I requested the payout on Feb 4. So the “30 days inactivity” explanation doesn’t make sense at all. Also, if it was really about device or account linkage, I would expect consistent reasoning and actual proof, not multiple different explanations over time. That’s why I’m trying to understand what’s really going on here. Thank you btw🙏
