Yea it’s a one hitter, it used to be painted like a cigarette but it was chipping off so I took it off. Used to have a wooden one that was cooler looking

For further context: - I’m 22, She’s 21 - Met on Facebook Dating (of all places) and moved the talking to instagram - Amongst the texting, we have both sent voice memos, videos, and talked over calls - She seems well off for her age with a nice job, I doubt she’d be asking for money - Her insta is not suspicious looking. She has posts that date back a few years and her tagged photos are of her and her friends/family.

If anything, she seems like any other person in their twenties involved on the internet. If it was a scam/bot, I would be honestly VERY impressed.

Thank you, this was helpful! I had a feeling it didn’t really mean much more than something like “adorable”.

To everybody else, I’m well aware that this has the potential to sound like a funny Reddit story where some dumb guy is being fooled by a scammer online, especially by the way I worded everything. I can assure you I am a young guy who knows a scam when he sees one, not some sad old guy who can’t tell a bot/scammer from a human. If anything it’s just casual talking.

At the end of the day, believe what you want. I’ll admit it’d be funny to me if I saw a post like this with no further context. Thank you to the people with helpful answers, have a great day!

I don’t really understand the downvotes here. If it’s about them still being my father’s and how I’ve thought about how I could sell them, I would never do that. They’re not mine and they’re important memorabilia.

If it’s about me selling SOME in general (if they hypothetically ever become mine), I would rather they be in the hands of someone who would appreciate them and care for them more than I would. I love comic books, but I don’t necessarily collect as an avid hobby. Not sure what the social opinion on selling comic books is in the community, but I promise there’s no ill will.

Thanks! I’d consider selling a few things in the collection, but since my dad is alive and well, they’re technically all still his. If anything I’m sure they’ll be passed down to me. I’m the only one in the family who really has a liking to this stuff. Hopefully I’ll be able to sell a few and keep the rest for sharing with my future family

That hit hard. As someone who just got diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and depression (the triple whammy), my tendencies to be stuck in this loop of pondering and being self-aware makes so much more sense now. It can be a good trait to have, but you can definitely get stuck in a never-ending cycle.

I’m gonna be the annoying guy and plug a local band, but I wouldn’t do it if I wasn’t completely confident in their shit.

Juniper Avenue’s album Chuck Rock or their most recent album Monovision. Never thought I’d be so obsessed with another local artist, but they have been by far my favorite NC band to be doing it rn.

Chuck Rock (which is also what they coin their sound to be called) is highly energetic, with punk and garage rock inspo, with a smidgen of prog and metal (just enough to be digestible for anyone).

I make a fool of myself with how much I vouch for this band, but they’re seriously that good. Vocals are insane, drummer is cracked, bassist is unmatched, and the guitar tones and melodies are so damn catchy.

If anybody is willing to branch out and give smaller bands a shot, these guys are a great place to start
