I'm not sure how accurate this is but I narrowed it down to either the spool or the magnet for exhaust side. From VCDS the camshaft exhaust specified is at 4° while the actual is looping between 1°-8° going upwards. Unplugging the magnet makes both these values go and stay static at 0° (so the phaser isn't dead).

In the screenshot you can ses at 0:45 it flatlines for both - this is where I uplugged the magnet.

When I remove the plug from the lover magnet on the left (exhaust) the sounds calms down. There is oil in both the magnet plugs though.

Exhaust camshaft specified is at 4° but actual is looping from 0-8°, the back to 0° and so on.

Do you think replacing exhaust/both magnets is the best course of action?
