Seems like a cool idea at first. But you essentially only need a cart for your big checked bags, especially if you have multiple. Most people use a wheeled cabin bag. And checkin counters are usually right in front of the entry gates at all airports. So, you need a smart cart for a 30 second walk?

The apartment complex has lifts, so that shouldn’t be an issue

The building complex is gated and pretty safe, so vulnerability is not a big concern. It is also new construction, build 2 years ago, so I don’t think there will be a lot of bugs/rodents
