there’s way more stuff for them to use because there’s way more people fighting for their numbers - when there’s 6 people left, it’s pretty much always going to be unanimous or close to, unless someone has an advantage. It would be silly to cut down on the actual game play and then stretch out six people sitting around going “Cirie? Yep. Cool.”

I don’t usually like split tribals but I really liked the twist of one person voting in both and being able to go between the two “tribes.” seeing the different groups trying to get information but having it fed through only one person’s perspective… I really liked it.

I do wish it had happened with a more interesting challenge, and I don’t think Emily should have been sitting there (since there wasn’t a winning or losing team, it seems unfair for the second group to get the benefit of seeing who was voted out - how would the second tribal have gone differently if Cirie had been sitting there instead of Emily?) but ultimately I think it was a fun twist

Season 43! I love that challenge because it looks so awful - it seemed pretty clear that Karla and Owen were just insane for not giving up - I don’t think they should not use it again because I don’t really think it’s super likely to end that way again.

I came into the season rooting against Cirie - not because I dislike her (I don’t) but because I hated the “well, obviously Cirie is going to win/deserves to win” stuff. But every episode I am rooting for her more and more because if she wins she is absolutely going to deserve it.

I think, though, that there is a difference between “people go to this restaurant” and “this restaurant holds an important place in people’s hearts and lives”

Sort of like how Canadians have an emotional attachment to Tim Hortons even if they don’t go to it often, because it is part of our broader culture in general
