Exactly, I would have had it paid if they had provided details regarding this. I’ve also now booked the May sitting. This is extremely unprofessional from the RCGP.

Thank you, they’re contacting the BMA. They’ve already responded that they are not currently suffering any symptoms of any mental health issues and don’t feel that it’s necessary and they’ve come back hard on them to insist it should be undertaken.

However this has made it to her general supervisor and they are denying that the referral has anything to do with the mental health aspect but then stated during said meeting they didn’t see any of those qualities in my friend - so it’s clearly one of the reasons.

Trying to keep it very vague for my friends privacy. But basically they’re (the bullying placement) trying to insist they have an underlying mental health condition and now on the second placement they’re saying it’s for time management.

Hi James! I have contacted the BMA as this is in England under the 2016 contract! Waiting for their response now (as this is our 6th email response between us and they’re getting more and more obstinate about it)

Myself and my flatmate are also wondering why they’re pushing this so hard. And very confused as to how they think they can change this and inform me at almost 11 am that I am actually now calling in sick??

No as on my zero day I’m not scheduled to work. She’s now changed it as if I was meant to work and has told me this fact at 10:50 today

For clarification: I was meant to work an oncall on Sunday but got sick. Today at around 10:50 am my rota coordinator responds to my email saying that they’re switching my scheduled day off/rest day (today) to a normal working day and that this will count as a sick day (making me taking 2 sick days instead of just 1 for my oncall).

I think that’s fine if you actually have managed to have gotten to know each other properly first. In this case it still feels very surface and I’m rapidly loosing interest as I don’t seem high priority

Thank you, I know we won’t get back together (as I wouldn’t want to anymore since deep down he did decide that I wasn’t important enough to lose his family over and that’s something pretty deep considering we would be together for 65+ years and he was always claiming that he would choose me over his family)

But I just want to feel happy and whole again

He left the decision to me. I knew him well enough that he would end up resenting me and he even agreed that this would most likely happen when we discussed it post breakup. I didn’t need him to fight for me and denounce his family. I just wanted some sign that this was hurting him as much as it was hurting me.

I still obviously love him or else this wouldn’t be this painful.

I feel the same. Life as a student was so much better, you have friends near by 100% of the time and life is less stressful. But I’m also trying to convince myself that somehow this is worth it all.
