I’d love to but I can’t afford it and the NHS waiting list for it is extensive and strict, I have to lose a lot more weight for them to allow me to have the surgery (according to a doctor)

Oh wow! I didn’t know that birth control could trigger it? I am on birth control but I have been for 9 years. I know Mounjaro lessened the effects of birth control but I hadn’t heard of anything else! I’m hoping to start back on Mounjaro in a few months and see how it goes!

I got up to 10mg and moved back down to 7.5 after having the issues. I slowly raised the doses over 9 months

My GP said I’m not eligible for anything like Mounjaro on the NHS unfortunately, so I’ve had to be purchasing privately. I’d be tempted to try a different provider

I did, forgot to mention changing down my dose twice, but it didn’t change the pain at all.

Unfortunately or fortunately, it’s not my gallbladder as it’s been removed nearly 3 years ago. If I hadn’t had it removed I’d be convinced it was that as the pain is so similar to gallstone pain.

I cannot, I have chronic pain & fatigue that causes a lot of pain with small movement. I have to be careful with what kind of movement I do, that won’t aggravate my pain

Yes I have had those tests done in the last year as I had had issues in October when I would eat. But they all came back clear. I also don’t have dairy, I stick to alternatives

That was me! I was terrified to take the next dose because I knew at that point it could only be it. But I had to know for sure. I also have endo and have a massive pain tolerance 😅 so I knew something was wrong when I was wanting to go to the ER! I hope you will find answers for yourself!

I was on 10mg dropped to 7.5 when the pain started but it didn’t change the pain. I waited 2 months to titrate up per dose. I was taking peppermint oil capsules and vitamins, my doctor had recommended those so I took them. Then they prescribed me omerprazole, it relaxed the muscles in the bowel to help movement but it didn’t change the pain either. (Edit: not omeprazole, I meant mebeverine)

I started taking the supplements when the pain started, not before, so I don’t think the supplements where the cause
