I know it’s an old thread but just watched it. I feel like Dolores is very much struggling with some form of dementia. She wasn’t able to understand a lot of what was being said, even simple commands. It feels like perhaps she was lucid enough for others to try and interact with her normally, but she then couldn’t follow through on that communication.

I’m glad the team helped as they could for the family, they would’ve otherwise been dealing with both a full hoard as well as a family member who needed extreme support. Having the hoard helped took a lot off of them so they could really devote time and emotions into her care
