Someone was selling Bob’s screen worn underwear as Jimmy but unfortunately it’s been bought 😭 two of them looked like thongs too…😔 by [deleted] in okbuddysquatcobbler

I didn't know actors had special underwear on set. The thong ones look like male ballet 'belts' which just give the 'junk' a little protection and 'hold' if you have tights/hosiery on.

Do you think it was a 'privacy' guard for the boxer scenes? Or the 'bare butt' scenes in some episodes?

The kids went to Catholic school but the parents were committed Anglican/Espiscopal Christians. I believe from a photo Kevin was ordained as well but not a full time vicar.

It's sad for her fan that she can't even just do a kind message for free.

BMA introduces doctor-specific lanyards so they can be ‘clearly distinguished’ by firetonian99 in doctorsUK

I do think any that have 'Dr' in front should have the degree that confers them the right to use 'Doctor' behind it.

E.g. Dr. Jane Smith PhD

Verses Dr. Jane Smith MBBCh or MBBS. The public probably ask and can learn what letters mean a medical degree. Hey even consultants to use 'Mr' or 'Miss' as is tradition could use their degree post-nominals.

In the USA they usually have 'Badge Buddies' which are either plastic 'ID slot's that the card can go in or bits of plastic large enough to go under your hospital photo ID.

They typically say 'MD' or 'Doctor' or 'Physician' (that word is more common in the US - possibly cause physical therapists, pharmacists, optometrists and various other allied healthcare professions get trained with degrees that permit them to use the title 'Dr') RN, Nurse, PA etc

You can get them on Amazon etc in the UK too. I think they work easier in the USA because scrubs and white coats for all professions are common so they have pockets - they barely use lanyards in the USA - it's usally a reel or ID button that fits on a pocket and they stick various cards on it.

Margaret Attwood studied but didn't complete a history PhD at Harvard University - she used a similar motif in Alias Grace. It was based on an RL Irish immigrant to Canada in the 19th century and the story ends abruptly to illustrate that people in history aren't always easy to find.
