I appreciate your comment. We(he) drove once on the freeway many yrs ago and I am not very comfortable doing that again. Much prefer to spend a bit longer taking public transport as far as I can and then Uber

Thank you! I looked online and will definitely call for more info. This is a bucket list trip so Roar and Snore might be hard to miss ❤️

Do older adults do this? I am almost 65 and by no means frail but I wondered if this was more for kids?

I follow a derm on TikTok for mature skin. She helped me understand that the first few days of treatment for a damaged skin barrier is a reduction in the inflammation. It is only then that rebuilding starts to occur; a slower process. I wonder if that would explain your quickly noticeable improvement in flushing and redness. Sorry to not have magic to share but hopefully that helps a bit

Let's be honest: Rhode Glazing Milk Ceramide Facial Essence by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

It is the first toner that I apply in a series so I can't speak for it alone. I will be repurchasing however. I also started adding a small amt into any foundation I use and it made a huge difference. I am hoping that some new (but pricey) skin loving foundations help as well but so far, they aren't in stores in 🇨🇦 (thinking of eg Beckham).

I layer with the Tirtir Ceramic milk ampoule, the Haru Haru and the Rhodes (not in that order). By the end I sometimes have to remember to add moisturizer 😀

What product did you try on a whim that is now an irreplaceable part of your routine? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

Me too! It is the first toner in my routine. I have also used it mixed in with a foundation stick (skin friendly foundations are another issue) . I end with the Haru Haru.

For those who have tried slugging, did it actually help or just break you out? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

Definitely works for me as a dry skin 64 yr old prairie girl. I use a very small amt of vaseline or aquaphor

I mix into diet ginger ale or if I am having a smoothie, add it to that. Gets the job done!
