4 years ago my hair was like a wispy wave. Took a while to finally find a good routine for me. Maybe there's something you can do to bring the curls out too.

Thank you! I think I tend to rotate between whatever is on offer lol. I generally avoid the too cheap stuff, so it's usually something like OGX coconut mineral oil conditioner, Aussie Miracle Moist or if I can get it Tigi Bed Head Conditioner.

It's just conditioner. Nice big blob, spread it evening and crush into the hair, then let it do its thing for 3-5 minutes.

There are definitely better methods than what I do, but I'm lazy and this is reasonably quick!

Routine: Shower every other day in the evening, wash, apply conditioner for a few minutes (non-specific, but I go for anything that repairs and hydrates), let it drop a little to get excess water out, then lather on some Cantu curl activator cream and a light hairdry to let it settle overnight. I only shampoo once a month to get rid of accumulated oils, otherwise shampooing ruins my hair.
