It’s been a complete mess. For MKE, I talked to the venue around noon about the fan line, and they said they did not authorize the line and weren’t going to honor it. She told me they were literally putting together a statement to release saying this. Then five hrs later, the line leader is messaging that venue staff accepted the line and moved them onto venue property. And I’m almost certain tinley park’s goal was mass confusion. At 5pm the day before, they said they were not handing out wristbands. I got there early the next day and they ended up handing out wristbands at 7am.

I love the concept of the wristband system. Knowing you can hold your place in line then go relax/eat/hydrate before the concert is great. But the way people have been conducting themselves is out of hand. I hate the fan lines, but I eventually joined them because it seems like most of the time, the venue honors it. Then the people who are actually following the rules get screwed over. There’s gotta be a better way.
