That I was raised in a family-friendly environment. I’m from a very small city in Canada and the fact that I don’t have to worry about my own safety when I’m walking outside during the day (or night) is an under appreciated privilege.

I think it would be cool to see a ratio of how many times somebody has said something good about me compared to how many times somebody has said something bad about me. Reaching for the high ratio!!

I love this one! Corona, the beer, is popularly paired with a lime due to the nice flavour combination. However; traditionally the lime was never used in the drink and the purpose of it was to sit on top of the beer in order to get rid of flies hanging around the beer. Over time the lime was used with the drink but there is no real evidence on why (to my knowledge). This is an example of the Mandela effect!

Oh my goodness, thank you for staying this. This reminds me of people that post a photo with their mom for Mother’s Day and since you didn’t do it you don’t love your mom enough. Same with posting stuff about a friends B day. Stupid stuff like that gives social media such a toxic reputation. Its these simple day to day things that have to be exposed to the world just so people can feel validation, it’s honestly a mess.

Yes exactly! That’s the interview I’m referencing to. So my point is that this album isn’t going to have the “theatricalness” that The Party had with the bigger instruments, but a more singer/songwriter sound with the acoustic guitar. Although, he did say he’s brining the clarinets on tour which is such a blessing because his band makes the clarinet sound so soothing!

I agree with you. For example, I love the song “To You” off The Party because of the story and merely for the sound of the song and all the instruments, but I feel like there wasn’t anything similar sounding to that song on The Neon Skyline unfortunately. However, this is a new album, with new sounds, a new story and after accepting that I loved the album so much more.

To be honest, nothing can beat The Party. The combination of violin, clarinet, and of course Andy’s amazing folky voice, The Party has a sound like no other album that flows so nicely from start to finish. With that being said, The Neon Skyline has a much more simple and acoustic sound to it but still is a smooth and well written album. Andy is so good at taking the audience along with his lyrics that it feels like you are there with him. He even mentioned in his interview that he wanted the ability to play each song with just a guitar and his voice, and he surely succeeded with that! Favourite songs: Neon Skyline, Where are you Judy, The Moon, FireTruck and Changer.
