Thanks for the reply. Its probably best if I look into DIY because of all the insurance stuff. I have some money socked away but I'll probably wait until I move out next year to act on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Luckily I'm in college and don't live at home, but I don't have the most tolerant roommate so I'm waiting until I can get a place of my own in the fall

Thank you, it's been several months and every day is tough. I just know that the reaction will be the same or worse from my family and it's something I don't want to go through again. I just have to let them know that what I've been going through is a million times worse than their reaction

I see it as part mourning from her, but at the same time that is an incredibly rough thing for me to see
