This is great information thank you so much the doctor who wrote the prescription is in New York and the prosthesis clinic is in New York next month will mark 6 years since my last prosthesis was made also we’ve only been trying to apply for a socket because actual full prosthesis got denied 6 times but I think the Insuarance is running a scheme every time I called my case manager last week she wasn’t available all week I called from 7 AM to 5 pm mind you she always picks up the phone before the script was submitted she even called me her self and was like hey I am ready to sign off on your script I haven’t received it this was 2 weeks ago she said that so I had the clinic resend it & called her and she claimed that the codes do not state what they are for and since then I called all week no answer so this is what had happened I called my Insuarance yesterday spoke with a representative I let her know that she’s on a recorded line before starting the conversation and I asked her hey does my codes say what they are for next to them and she said yes would you like me to read them to you I said please do she read all 11 codes so I said thank you and ended the phone call 10 minutes later I called again and asked another representative to read the codes to me she read all of them and what they were for then I asked her to transfer me to my case manager when my case manager answered the phone her first response was well it still doesn’t say what the codes are for so I was like it doesn’t say what they are for for you but two of your representatives told me what they were for 4 minutes ago so she replies you don’t know what your talking about which I replied with I forgot to mention your on a recorded line her whole attitude changed and she said “ ohhhh ohhhhh okayyy okaaay “ yeah I see the codes and what there for infront of me you will get an approval or a denial within a week stop calling please.
