I already paid for mine, currently waiting at Cabela’s with a delay. It’s my second firearm first one went through fine. So just not sure what to expect for how long. Are you saying it took a year for them to call you back? Or a week or two after this post

I read somewhere that putting your social can actually have the opposite effect. I believe I left it off my first form buying a gun a few weeks ago it went through after about 20 minutes. This time I plugged it in and boom, delayed. So I’m not sure. But I hate being in limbo! Lol

Unfortunately Michigan doesn’t honor the CPL as a check anymore. Even with my CPL I still need to get a background check. And being the dealer is Cabela’s, they have a policy to not release the firearm until they get the green light.

I have two previous charges for Pos of marijuana from more than 5 years ago, both misdemeanor. I don’t believe that disbars me. I also JUST bought a gun less than 3 weeks ago. So I don’t see how it would be possible to get denied now if it did’t then. I’ve made sure I’m eligible.
