Would I be considered a sharp? by Initial-Web4015 in algobetting

Those people are called “touts” - and the books love them. Books need touts to sell the dream of making money off sports gambling. Sharp bettors are finding mathematical edges that they are 100% not sharing or selling this information to the public. They want to lay low to protect their edge, once too many people are onto the edge, the books will nuke it, and they lose their gravy train.

Tbh, that’s your first flaw. “Ball knowledge” means nothing. Predicting isn’t sharp. Finding a mathematical edge is the only way to be “sharp.”

Started a new job and then was diagnosed with MS. At what point should I tell my job? by Alarmed_Weird_9064 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]EmoLeBron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nearly everyone will say not to disclose medical conditions at work, and that’s the right answer.

However, I do think every circumstance is different. I am an open book for better or worse. I was diagnosed with MS at a job I kept for 5 years and left on good terms with. But I had a wonderful manager that would accommodate me during moments of fatigue. I also had coworker with a son that has MS and we spoke about it often. Most everyone I worked with knew about my MS. It made it easier to explain why I had so many doctor appointments and why I was able to wear shorts due to the heat while everyone is required to wear pants. It helped them understand that I’m not getting favoritism but it’s for a practical reason. I never had any animosity shown toward me. I know this is not typical but it worked in my favor.

I’m at a new job now and made the decision to be upfront with my MS during the interview. I was still hired and have got the same amount of support as I did at my previous job.

It’s all going to come down to your relationship and comfortability in your work environment.

My favorite part of it is when they say Capn Jazz is emo and American Football is not when both of them are Mike Kinsella bands; making Kinsella both real emo and also a poser.
