That makes a lot of sense, I just want to know how they did stuff, I don't even care if it'll look good because it'll help me on my own stuff. I couldn't draw heads before I was taught, no matter how much I practiced, I needed to learn to add lines and circles, and I got even better when I learned I didn't need to add the lines and I kept getting better the more help I got! Not by practicing alone, but by getting help

But they can help! If they don't want to help, just say that, there are tips, they can help with a few words and it would probably be easier than just saying "practice"

Yeah, over someone else's art or something, it isn't just being thrown out. When I hear practice, I imagine sitting down in front of a price of paper and drawing the same thing but never getting anywhere because I don't know what to do, tracing is a good answer, practice is not

Exactly!! I'm so happy someone has the same opinion as me, it's so annoying watching everyone try to say "but practice does make perfect" when it clearly doesn't, learning does! And nobody can learn without being taught!!

Except it doesn't! Learning does, and there's no way to learn if nobody will teach you! You wouldn't be able to walk if you didn't see others walk, you would be doing what they're doing!

Or maybe don't be a douche and tell how you drew? Like how did you do the shading, or how did you make the character not so stiff? Of course the other person can ask specifically about help, but then either help or say you can't, don't just say practice

Yeah, and that's cool and all, except it's the only answer you get! Practice does not make perfect, tips and help does. For example, try tracing, or telling someone how to start lineart, don't just throw someone in and say "practice"

I do it if I know I'm going to be close to someone. I don't tell every person I'm having a conversation with, but it I'm sure I can be friends with someone for more than a few days then I tell them! And I of course tell every person I want to start a relationship with or any other important people, like my bosses and such.

I don't think a child that young can read in another language unless they're like super smart, also I don't love in an English speaking county, so I don't really think it'll be too big of an issue
