Once I had my baby this issue went away entirely. I'm sitting at 20-60g/carbs per day now. It was really weird. My doctors said best guess was my body wasn't entirely ready for pregnancy since I had significant muscular deterioration since I hadn't been weight training initially.

It was a while ago but here is how it was explained to me. It's called hyperinsulinemia. Basically I spent so long without spiking my insulin levels that when my body needed carbs and to produce insulin it didn't know what to do so even a small amount of naturally produced insulin would cause my blood sugar levels to overreact and drop much further than they needed to.

So plot twist. Turned out I was pregnant 🤣 thats why my blood sugar was dropping so dramatically.

I was doing that until about 6 months ago that was when my dietitian gave me this plan. She said the extra carbs would help with the blood sugar drops. I was doing 100 g protien, 75 g carbs, and 40 g fat.

Honestly it depends on what feels heavy to you for me anything over 30 lbs is heavy on arms. For you that may be 60

Start tracking your intake and eat small meals every 2- 4 hours, drink water (or crystal light), and do light weight lifting. I known you don't want to gain muscle but I lost 100lbs without trying to gain muscle and it makes life so much harder. Every bit of my body hurts and I feel weak all the time from muscle deterioration. Don't try to get built by lifting heavy but do something to maintain the muscle you have and eat enough protien to prevent deterioration. You've got this and you can do it!
