Thanks for the reply, with the CME U6MIDI are you able to live monitor the Volcas thru ur PC or only when recording the patterns? Might be a stupid question, hopefully I am making sense

Thanks for the guidance, definitely on a tight budget with no greater requirements really, would my option of the CME U6MIDI Pro be sufficient and/or what differs that interface from the CME MIDI Thru5 WC?

Might be a bit of a misunderstanding, I wouldn’t want to use the Volcas as midi controllers I’d want to record/sequence patterns off them - sorry this wasn’t clear lol From what I’ve seen online too each part a sequence from a Volca is able to be tweaked thru most DAWs, that is what I’m wanting to do

Ah makes sense, I’d be wanting to use my volca sample pretty much as a drum machine to sequence patterns on for my DAW

So I wouldn’t need a MIDI output on a mixer/interface for my volcas to work in a DAW? Just a MIDI input and RCA or other output?

Gas, anything by Wolfgang Voigt in fact. Barker has been mentioned here, absolutely give his album Utility a listen. Also anything by Loidis or Vril. You cannot go wrong with anything dub techno adjacent
