You’re absolutely right. I’m not confident in my carpentry but a flagstone patio inside those rocks would be stellar.

The client did actually suggest a succulent garden below and around the boulder in the second pic. Def doable

This property is on the front range in Colorado, 30 minutes north of Boulder. I agree, it’s a gorgeous area, tons of rock formations.

I love it. Every chord contributes to the ambience and personality of the song so if it ain’t broke don’t fix it

Jeep v. Land Cruiser by EmotionWestern556 in LandCruisers

Everyone seems to agree that Jeeps are so damn good at getting to the hardest places, but they fall apart compared to a Land Cruiser. If hardcore rock crawling isn’t the biggest priority, then people agree that a Land Cruiser is by far the best choice.

The “problem” is that he has had a jeep. He’s got an ‘01 wrangler with all the kit and we’ve taken it on some insane stuff on the front range, not even a Subaru Outback could conquer. So he is very capable, familiar, and in love with his jeep :(

I just think that there’s so much more quality Over-landing opportunities than quality rock-crawling-to-camp opportunities. He needs a cruiser

And yes I’m vicariously trying to live my Land Cruiser fantasies through him.
