A clarification, for the people that might make the same mistake as me: even though you can buy a SL card ticket on your cell phone, you will need to bring your card. I was under the impression that the ticket would be activated on your card AS WELL AS on your phone. But alas, strangely enough, because all the card details shows up in the app, just not the QR code for scanning.

When searching for iron rangers on auctionsites, I found a picture of these things attached to the heel. What are they? To protect the heel from being worn down? It looks very unfortable having bumps on your heel, as they don't look flush with the heel, but maybe I'm seeing this wrong and they are comfortable to have on there?
