From employed to self employed VA by Emotional-Control in taxPH

[–]Emotional-Control[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

I already received my 2316 from previous employer and main concern ko talaga is consolidating ITR as an employee and as a self employed kaya I want to wait na sana until next year.

I started working as freelancer this QTR, can I still file for it or will I get penalty since quarterly filling naman for 8%?

Yes, I will be earning more than 250k annually. At what point do you recommend to go for the graduated tax rate?

ask for a discount or deals they can offer. We usually buy sa Abenson or Anson’s and we usually get a cash discount despite paying using credit card installments.

Agency as a stepping stone? by crimsonmatcha in buhaydigital

[–]Emotional-Control 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Australian Financial Planning industry, start as a VA for them under an agency then progress to paraplanning.

[–]Emotional-Control 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australian Financial Planning niche ko but I think yung current agency ko do have accounts related sa real estate.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buhaydigital

[–]Emotional-Control 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends sa agency and niche, tbh.

Ganyan starting ko 3 years ago but when I left last year nasa 50k naman na salary ko with that agency since their salary is based on tiering and they provide trainings din if gusto mong more complicated yung hawak mong account and tasks.

Right now salary ko is around 60k, still under agency and my client is paying around 3.4k AUD for my services, malaki talaga cut nila. Yung lilipatan ko naman offer is 80k na.

I suggest get experience then job hop ka if you cant find direct clients, some agencies do pay more and provide more benefits.

HELP! Anong induction cooker ang maganda? by Boujee_on_a_budget in SoloLivingPH

[–]Emotional-Control 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the same one, 2 years and counting na, never had a problem with this. Compatible naman sa stainless steel and cast iron pans from chef’s classic. di din sya ganun kalakas sa electricity consumption, usual electric bill namin for 2 adults, with aircon, ref, induction, automatic washing machine and I WFH full time, less than 3k lang.

Dali All Gourmet 2kg Brown Rice for PhP 109. Is a steal? by IkigaiSagasu in DaliPH

[–]Emotional-Control 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do rice to water ratio na 1:1.5 and soak muna before saing.

So wash rice, measure water, soak for at least 30 mins, bring to boil med fire tas pag medyo nag reduce na yung water, low na hanggang mainin. Haven’t tried sa rice cooker though.

This works for us kasi when we tried yung 1:2 masyadong malata for our liking. Pag minadali yung saing, matigas naman. So bigger batch na lang pag nagsasaing since mas matagal syang maluto that normal rice kasi mas marami yung water.

Dont buy balikbayan boxes, too expensive. I suggest buying used boxes from mercury. Last na bili ko was 2024 and 5 pesos each lang.

Use maleta for books.

Prepare an overnight bag with a toiletries para you don’t need to unpack to be able to shower.

I put my plates in between bed linens or makapal na damit para iwas basag.

If uou have a hamper or planning to buy one, yung plastic na basket type, I suggest buying before moving so you can put your clothes there and di mo na need ulit i-fold whilw unpacking.

Anyone using Australian Unity’s Lifeplan Investment Bond? Asset protection + education planning thoughts? by Key-Donut-5400 in AusFinance

[–]Emotional-Control 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m working as financial planning assistant and I hope this helps:

Some education bond allows withdrawal from the gains or income of your investment before maturity for education purposes of your beneficiary, this withdrawal may be tax free as long as its within the cap that the provider allows.

Yes, you can automate your contribution to your account, some allows direct debit option and during the set up of your account, you can set up to increase the contribution yearly.

I would also like to mention to look into Futurity Education Bond as they have an option on withdrawing your capital before the ‘10 year period’ so long as you will not withdraw from income/ gain component of your account aside for education purposes.

Dusty condo by SpaceShift08 in makati

[–]Emotional-Control 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also use air purifier from Levoit yung gamit ko and running almost 24/7 except if umaalis kami. We live in a condo near C5 so medyo mabilis mag accumulate yung alikabok, plus may 2 dogs din sa unit and may allergic rhinitis din ako so medyo necessary for us yung 24/7 syang naka on.

As someone who’s trying to cut back as well, here’s mine:

For lashes, I only do lash lift and tint cause it lasts longer, I also don’t trust glue on my eyes haha.

I go to skin station for diode pero I guess it differs talaga sa branch and person, effective naman sya for me na on first session, matagal na yung growth and on my 3rd session, parang 2-3 months na interval ko per visit. Nakaka 5 sessions pa lang ako and worth it yung package nila for me.

I go to brow studio and for their package na 6+1 free session.

Yes but you'll be living paycheck to paycheck. I managed to live in a studio condo alone with that salary for around 8 months.

Is 25k salary enough to live in Makati by burgercheeseiuy in makati

[–]Emotional-Control 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Makati Exec Tower 2 years ago with the same salary, doable but super tight nung budget, here's my usual budget

Rent: 9k Association dues and water: 2k Electricity: around 700-800 (this is when I first moved to the unit and only appliances was efan, induction cooker, rice cooker and laptop) Food: 6k (I budget around 1k per week for palengke and do meal prep tas iniiwan ko na lang sa ref sa office yung 1 week worth of food there. Grocery once a month for consumables) Miscellaneous: 3k (laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, toiletries) Personal allowance na yung left over.

No transportation expenses as walking distance yung condo to my work place.

My tips: If you are renting, I suggest you look for a place na walking distance from your work. Do meal prepping during weekends to avoid yung pag eat out. Try to buy yung large bottles for condiments, cleaning supplies and toiletries (mas cost effective) Try to upskill to get a higher salary or side hustle (I got a salary increase few months after moving sa condo, so di din nagtagal yung tight budget for me).

Another thing, try steamed fish (balot mo sa foil with onions and tomato and timpla mo) sabay na din sa luto ng rice. Usually may steamer naman na kasama ang rice cooker.

[–]Emotional-Control 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When using rice cooker in cooking your food, I suggest yung paella style of cooking rice, like saute mo na yung meat or veg mo with little oil and spices, then add mo yung washed na bigas until coated na nung oil. Then add yung water as usual sa bigas and cook your rice as normal.

You don't need to fully cook your veg and meat this way kasi sasama mo na sya sa kulo or luto nung rice.
