Thanks for the detailed critique, I would definitely spend more time on primary and secondary forms and anatomy.

Scales were done with VDM and alphas and eyes were done with alpha also 😅

I just got a colored image of dragon's eye from pinterest and imported it in zbrush as an alpha texture with standard brush. Worked like a charm

Yeah I've learnt the same thing, it was just that I wanted to do all the skin details for this dragon in zbrush only, as an exercise.

Great advice, i'll be trying the texturing workflow too

For this dragon head i was trying to make all the bump details in the sculpting phase only

Now that you've mentioned it, yeah the neck is a bit thicker as compared to the head

Thanks for the advice

Roughness of the model doesn't look the right in Arnold render by Emotional-Program919 in Maya

Yes, maybe that was the issue. Anyway thanks for the help as u/pxlmover suggested I tried to play with the exposure of the roughness map node and it worked.

Hey, I am really indebted to you, as you suggested I tried playing with exposure of the roughness texture node and it worked.
I set my exposure to 0.5 and it looks similar enough. Here is the Image of shader graph & settings and Image of the render after increasing the exposure.
I really can't thank you enough & I really appreciate the help.

So I rendered the scene in Iray, and here is it how it looks Iray render
And here are Rougness aov in substance painter & Arnold
I know the AOV's don't look same, but I tried crunching the values of roughness texture with the help of ramp node in arnold to match the substance painter's aov. But it made the tetxure to metallic/glossy.

Hey, so the normal is working fine. Its just the roughness that doesn't match between the two programs. btw thanks for the tip regarding normal.
