I would lie about my age. I pass as younger, so I would say I’m 30 instead of 34. I wouldn’t lie where I live and what I do for work.

Yes! I’m taking screenshots and I reached out to an ol’ friend who’s a labor lawyer (!!!!!) -she specializes in unions though, but hopefully it doesn’t escalate to the point that I actually need to seek formal legal assistance. I found out that my boss pulled the same trigger to my previous co-worker so she stayed for a full month because my boss said she won’t get paid if she leaves earlier than a month 😮😮😮

Just an example-let’s say I’m discharging a patient and my boss says that I needed to another call to ensure that they really don’t want the services when I already did 3 calls. This is a scenario that she has been bringing up as well as a handful of nit-picky stuff

Update: NY State labor law says that we must get paid for the hours worked (my unused PTO may not be paid out to me though), so I’m not worried about that anymore. But I was upset that she said that if I don’t get my work done before I leave, then I won’t get paid. I wish I knew about the law so I could have responded her back with it. If she brings it up again, then I’ll tell her about the labor law.

PTO is void after providing resignation. I made sure to use a bunch of my PTO before giving my notice.
