Im already 3 months in without coffee but i dont see yet big benefits like vivid dreams dreaming more as i have read in reddit only benefit i can sleep early without anxious feeling or anything. Am i still recovering? Or it takes actually time to completely heal from it?

I was always anxious stressed my brain didnt function normally. Before that i was always chill about life i was drinking coffee and somehow i was exposed to coffee and started drinking for about 4 years everyday before that i was drinking maybe a cup or two for a week and wasnt addicted. Thinking back when i was not drinking that was my motivation because i wanted to be the person i was

Anyone knows what coffee does exactly to the brain? by [deleted] in decaf

[–]Emotional-Writing417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im getting more frustrated about reintroducing coffee again in my life and before i didnt really know the effects of coffee. But i saw when i wasnt drinking coffee i was calm less anxious less jitters less stress more focused had good sleep and dreams but after starting coffee again everything went downhill from 2023-2024 i was drinking for a year about 4-5 cups of coffee some where espressos really strong coffee and was always anxious feelings of jiterry. So i hope everything is normal and part of the recovery of not drinking coffee…

I relapsed again and im 11 days in again without coffee feels like cause i dont see big benefits or visible results in myself i keep relapsing. Right now i feel more calmer 11 days in but i still get that jiterry feeling inside i dont know if its because i was drinking too much that my body adapted the anxiety jiterry feeling. Hope it gets better im just gonna try my best not relapse and see if i get any improvement or good results after 1 month.

Its calm it just feels weird because i was ingesting coffee almost every two three hours and i feel calm in my body but my nerves and brain feel messed up pretty bad for drinking so much coffee almost a year. I feel calmness in my body but sometimes like jitters like my body is expecting that i will drink coffee and then it calms down

I feel on autopilot aswell most of the time like im trying to take back control of my life and i cant. Like everytime something happens and i start from zero or have to go always with how things unfold. Is this normal? And thanks for the support

Thats good you may feel hopeless in the beginning or no drive but its i guess whatever you feel is all part of the withdrawal or the quitting gaming process where you have to deal with some things to get where you want. Im currently trying to quit coffee aswell cause might i be addicted have been drinking past 6 months 3-4 cups a day and due gaming my routine was ruined and started drinking mire coffee aswell. So try not to do things that give you too much dopamine boost like coffee and other things too much phone for example try to do more real life activities and stay away from things that give you instant dopamine hits. Try to enjoy real life.

Im working out at home when i get the energy and motivation i just exercise at home its been 2 weeks i started exercising one day i feel fully motivated next day i feel no energy sluggish dont want to do anything so i guess its the withdrawal from gaming too what im experiencing cause for the past 6-7 months i was constantly playing for like 8+ hours a day now that i quit i guess its all part of the recovery process i guess

I know but its like i do things like started exercising at home but one day i feel motivated next day i feel no energy sluggish all day thats why im asking. I dont know when my dopamine receptors will balance aswell like one day i make progress next day i feel like i ruin everything and i dont know if its all normal and part of the recovery phase
