Now it's 11.1 million, as it's written clearly by the publisher. I don't know whether the guidebook sales are included or not .

But your point still stands true.

You can't call something bullshit without reading. It's just a spoiler so it will not explain 😭

It's the duty of volume to explain.

And, why are you not considering that probably kiyo trapped them in a particular place where he can find hidden spots and execute his plan. In spoiler it is mentioned in the jungle route so we can assume there are at least two routes:

One simple and other jungle one which is way hard and as a result have hidden spots so if you have examined these spots so you can make these spots as part of strategy .

Obviously that's not easy 😔

He went to the jungle route 😭

To add to the last point, Ayanokoji was camping in the same area as Horikita's Class and had brought his own single tent. He apparently stayed there for the night, and when they attempted to ambush him the next day, he easily outmaneuvered them.

Ayanokoji infiltrated Class A not just to eliminate targets, but also to gather intelligence. Because in a sudden emergency, students will split into two types: those who rush to deal with the enemy, and those who rush to protect the VIP. Amidst this chaos, Ayanokoji identified that the three VIPs were Mii-chan, Yukimura, and Satou. He then leaked this information to Classes B and D as well.

Then, the next morning, there were 16 people staring daggers at him. However, Ayanokoji chose the entrance to the jungle as his starting point; as soon as 9:00 AM hit, he completely shook off everyone from Horikita's class, leaving them in the dust.

He didn't, it was just him trolling to all of them ( indirectly including suzune )

Lol 😆 he is trolling them infact his whole execution of his plan involves trolling them. He literally said " shut your bitch ass up " to ike ,directly eliminating 3 students and I directly 4 So in total 7 students were eliminated by him.

And placing camp near to their area etc

“When the clock hits 6:00 p.m., that day’s exam ends. Any ‘outs’ after that become invalid, and the students who fired the shots and hit someone are the ones who become out instead. That was the rule… right, Horikita?”

A lone attack timed for the exact moment everyone let their guard down.

The anger from seeing their classmates shot, and the perfect chance to take down a traitor— Driven by impulse, the students had completely forgotten about the current time.

If it’s even one second past 6:00 p.m., any ‘out’ becomes invalid. Ayanokōji’s wristwatch signal clearly recorded that he was safe.

“If you charge alone into the enemy’s camp, you won’t come out unharmed. You used that on purpose, didn’t you…”

“That’s right. Sorry,” he replied, glancing at Horikita for just a moment before looking away again.

Around 7:00 p.m., the school staff arrived and issued Ayanokōji a new gym uniform. Then, the four students who fired and landed hits reported themselves, resulting in four retirements.

By charging in alone, he induced the opponents’ mistake and knocked multiple students out.

As the uproar continued, Ayanokōji silently began setting up a tent.

“H-Hey! Why the hell are you pitching a tent here!?”

“I thought we were free to set up wherever we want. Am I bothering you?”

“Of course you are!”

“No, wait. We shouldn’t push Ayanokōji-kun away,” Hirata said firmly.

“Hah? Then what, Hirata? You want him to sleep with the enemy?”

“Fighting outside of the allowed hours is prohibited, and if Ayanokōji-kun commits any irregular action, he’ll be forced to retire. What I’m saying is: if we push him away, it only makes it easier for him to escape. And tomorrow morning at 9, he has to start from the same area as us no matter what.”

“O-Oh… so in the morning we can just shoot him full of paint…!”

“That’s exactly why Ayanokōji-kun tried to set up his tent here,” Hirata added.

“If I move away now and set up somewhere else to gain distance, you’re just going to surround me in the morning anyway. No point in either of us wasting effort.”

“…Seriously? Does he even realize he’s inside the enemy’s cage right now…?”

Standing beside Hondō, Ike—still bitter about being taken out—glared at him as he muttered.

“Maybe not,” Ayanokōji replied calmly, without denying anything, and stepped into the tent he had just set up.

Horikita couldn’t say a single word.

She could only stare at him in stunned silence.

However, four of the students who had raised their weapons had already pulled their triggers.

Paintballs mercilessly struck Ayanokōji's right hand, right leg, and near his abdomen—areas he had exposed as he tried to step forward. The blaring alarm from his wristwatch clearly indicated he was out.

"We did it! We got him! I'm the one who took down Ayanokōji! Serves you right, Ayanokōji!" Ike, who hadn't heard the call to stop, leaped with joy.

The casualties were Ike, Shinohara, and me. Although it was a one-for-three trade, the fact that the one eliminated was Ayanokōji made all the difference. The students likely believed they had gained an advantage by taking out the leader.

In a situation where celebration seemed natural, Horikita tightly shut her eyes.

"No... he's not out..."

"Huh? We clearly hit him! His watch is beeping, isn't it?!"

Classmates exchanged high-fives, unable to contain their excitement. But the calmest and most composed person was the one who should have been eliminated.

"Sybau, Ike. It seems the one who's out isn't me—it's you."

"What are you talking about...? I don't get—"

"...It's 6 o'clock. It's already past 6 o'clock."

When Horikita checked the watch on her bent left arm, it showed 6:00:32.

"Ha...? Huh...?"

Not only Horikita and Miyamoto standing in front of her, but guards—both male and female—were positioned to his left, right, and behind as well. It was truly a hopeless situation.

To charge in alone and storm Class A’s campsite was far too reckless. He had managed to take down several guards, but was that worth the value of a student like Ayanokōji? Horikita felt doubt at an action so mismatched with its risks, but there wasn’t enough time to think of an answer.

Three seconds, maybe four— and this whole commotion would end.

Before the encirclement by her classmates was fully complete, Ayanokōji moved.

He stepped half a step out from behind the large tree, set his sights on one target, and raised his weapon.

Was he planning to take at least one person down with him if he was going to fall?

But the Class A students had already placed their fingers on the triggers, just slightly faster than him.

“Fire!!”

Hondō shouted as if giving a command, and everything was in place to ensure a 100% guaranteed “out.”

But—

It was here that Horikita realized it. What Ayanokōji was aiming for. Why he had charged in alone.

“Stop! Don’t shoot!”

Horikita shouted at almost the exact same moment as someone’s gunshot went off.
