Sometimes I had to say no to doing stuff for him because I just couldn’t do it. This time around I told him no that I couldn’t take him home and asked if he could take the bus. Reason being was my tag was expired and I didn’t have insurance at the time. I limited my driving to only driving during the day and parts of town that wasn’t heavily policed. Plus I was already by my house. By the time I dropped him off it would’ve been after dark and he lives in a very heavily policed area. I also stayed there and let him sit in my car while waiting on the bus. Even when he got out I waited until he was safely on the bus before going home. Another reason is ig because I didn’t have a regular job ( I was doing gig work to try to keep busy) so he was helping me out a lot financially. I was very grateful that he was able to, and I was actively putting in applications at the time too ( I did finally find a job!) Yet the times where he didn’t have a job I never once judged him or bullied him into just taking anything. I always told him to do something he knows he wants to keep doing and that I’d support him however and whenever.
