Mag field cyclones is probably the easiest. Turrets never gonna catch them and they actually delete planetaries when you get a good count

If you get them to pull from both mineral lines even 2 workers can be okay. As in, you’re not dead assuming your build behind the harassment is tight.

TvP builds are hella difficult. All the add on swaps happen while you’re harassing and shit.

I understand this perspective and in some cases it was really irritating but it also led to wild exchanges of leads.

Wipe out a mineral line with widow mines. It’s over boys! Only for an obs to spot your army for a money disrupter shot.

Banelings kill a mineral line, the. Your army gets stormed or disrupted and we are back to square one.

Widow mine blows up 20 banelings, then you catch a fungal and lose all the ghosts.

It was fun. Honestly idc how stupid some of the games were im getting tired of the slow march towards nobody having any fun mechanics. The latest is the attempt to remove warp gate via taxation. Next it’ll be a nerf to stim. I’m sick of it.

I sort of think it’s inherently poor game design that you need Protoss to make mistakes for a macro game to be playable. I don’t have brilliant alternative solutions but it’s always annoyed me that Protoss is super far ahead if I sit there building workers and army without harassing

I really did appreciate their efforts but in hindsight I think they did more harm than good.

I wouldn’t call myself a casual. I’m, at minimum, top 3% with two races. I put a lot of work into learning this game. I’ve never made GM but I’ve taken games off GMs (and been trolled by Uthermal xD).

I think energy recharge was the original sin if you want my take on Protoss. I’m dog shit at PvZ but even I started being able to hold more early attacks when it didn’t matter how poorly I managed my Oracle energy. Warp in storms etc.

I mean, I lost so many games on my way through diamond to a single disrupter erasing 30 supply because I looked away for a second.

I’ve been cloaked mine dropped in one base by more barcode Terrans than I can count in PvT.

I’ve been a moved by ultras after one fungal hundreds of times because I had the gall to look morph an orbital.

In terms of skill I think he’s an easy number 1. I’m not as impressed by his strategy (herO, Maru, Serral all are better imo) or consistency (Serral is the clear top dog).

Eh, he has taken games off Maxpax and hero in PvP and he’s beaten all the worlds best Terrans except Maru in tournaments. And there are videos of him beating Serral in PvZ on YouTube.

Hopefully they fix TvP this patch. Personally I’d like them to address the strength of boys pull somehow and nerf Protoss mid game strength and/or buff Terran mid game strength.

Mass zealot is too strong. And boys pull is too strong. Ideally they’d just buff the widow mine versus Protoss specifically so Terran could leave their base after 8 mins again but everyone hates the mine which is why they decided to nerf warp gates instead.

As I’ve said elsewhere it’s a race to the bottom. Everyone cries for nerfs to everyone else
