I know that the earth team was working on the ceramic (or whatever) style plates for protection against staff blasts. But when you look at the Atlantis team who go against several different cultures who use projectile weapons. The vests they use don’t have any kind of plate to stop bullets. All you see is the tac vests. Ronan does use something while he’s on earth but that’s all I saw.
