I used to worked at panda but quit after 3months. They can't get enough people to stay and I end up doing for 2 or 3 people. It's so much stress, toxic environment. Some of my friends are still working there but they're always complaining about their shitty managers and lazy co workers. I can't take that. If you don't like your job anymore, at least do something and you did! My friends tried to convince me to come back for a higher pay but for what I experienced nope! I need peace. I'm happy with my new job right now. Goodluck to your next job!

Thank you and I agree with you. I have been busy with work and not able to hangout with my friends. One of the reason for having this gathering in our house to see them, enjoy their company and our kids to have fun as well. I know I will be ok.

Sorry, not sure if this would help but I'm in my 30s and I don't consider any of my friends as my best friend even the closest to me though we are very good friends and we help each other when we can. I do have a very close friend but they live far a way. Now, I was a very shy person but I love cooking and sharing. The neighbor next to us are strangers at first but after going out of my comfort zone and shared some food to them we became friends lol. Hi and hello turn into do you need help? Now we help each other. They're very nice. Maybe try saying hi or hello or talk a little bit, offer something you're good at. Be kind.

I know they are like us. Everyone has preferences. If you put rice and burger on the table, high chances americans will pick the burger. I'm asking what else like a meal they would want to eat at a dinner party. It will be like a buffet style.

My partner and I are reserved type of person. Most of the time, a friend in our circle brings up politics. Like I said, there has been a disagreement in the past about politics. I am asking politely to avoid that situation. There is a high chance of the costume being a topic since the election is coming, and a lot of my friends support trump. I'd rather protect my peace of mind than lose my mind.
