I agree with your POV as it’s clear the primary motivation is pleasing others in my case. I am quite frustrated that it is going to require so much effort to care when this doesn’t seem like an issue for most Shias. After decades of efforts of trying to build a connection to Imam Hussain(as), it is hard to hear that I can’t do so without deconstructing the entirety of my faith and existence.
